When I walk around my yard and check in my garden to see if any plants are emerging, I see some signs of spring. I have garlic shoots already up about 6 inches and the rhubarb plants had already been peeking their little heads out of the death from last year. I can already imagine the taste of the cobblers, pies, cakes and sauces I can make from all the rhubarb Ii can get from my two well established plants. At the end of the year I will have to divide the plants and start new ones. The plants seem to want to quit producing very much when they get older.
