Old Elevator

While driving in the country a few weeks ago I ran across an old elevator that I thought was interesting. I wanted to take some photographs of it but just never made it back to it for quite some time. Thursday (yesterday) I managed to drive back over to it and took about half a dozen photographs. I finally edited them this morning to enhance them a little and thus you are seeing the results.

I only walked around the perimeter of the structure as I didn’t know who owned it and didn’t want the cops called on me for trespassing. All in all I think I about covered what I could with where I had to stand. 🙂

This elevator is located in Clinton County Indiana just south of 28 by a few miiles. The name of the town (small enough that if you blink your eyes you will miss it) is named Manson. I did not know the town was even there until I drove past it to see what I could see on the north side of it. Low and behold, there was this small town.
